Terms of Service

Effective 25 May 2026. These Terms govern your use of GoDrop. By signing up or using the service you agree to be bound by them.

1. About GoDrop

GoDrop, accessible at godrop.sg, is a free, Singapore-only directory service that connects businesses needing ad hoc deliveries (“Posters”) with independent couriers (“Delivery Partners”). GoDrop is operated from Singapore. “We”, “us” and “our” refers to the operator of GoDrop; “you” refers to any user of the service.

GoDrop is not a logistics operator, freight forwarder, courier company, transport service, employer, agent of any user, or payment processor. We provide software that lets one user broadcast a delivery request and another user respond to it. The delivery itself is a private agreement between the Poster and the Delivery Partner.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in Singapore. By signing up you confirm both. Business accounts must be operated by an authorised person of the business. Delivery Partners must be lawfully entitled to provide ad hoc delivery services in Singapore and, if using a motorised vehicle, must hold the appropriate licence and insurance.

3. Accounts and verification

You sign up using a Singapore mobile number, verified through a click-to-chat handshake on Telegram or WhatsApp. You are responsible for keeping access to your messaging account secure. There is no password, no email login, and no self-service recovery for a lost phone — account recovery is admin-assisted and requires you to email us from another channel we can verify against your account.

One person, one account. Creating duplicate accounts to game ratings, dispatch, or suspensions is a basis for termination.

4. The deal between Posters and Delivery Partners

  • No payments through the app. The Poster and the Delivery Partner agree on the fare privately and settle it directly — typically PayNow or cash on delivery. GoDrop never holds funds, never takes a commission, never invoices either party, and is not a party to the payment.
  • No employment. Delivery Partners are independent. They are not employees, contractors, partners, or agents of GoDrop. We do not assign jobs, set fares, control how the work is done, or supervise the route.
  • Acceptance is binding between users. When a Delivery Partner accepts a job, a private agreement forms between them and the Poster on the terms shown on the job (pickup, drop-off, vehicle, fare if stated, time window, special instructions). GoDrop is not a party to that agreement.
  • Direct communication. Once accepted, contact details (phone, Telegram, or WhatsApp) are revealed to both sides. We do not mediate the conversation, mask numbers, or store messages exchanged outside GoDrop.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use GoDrop to post, accept, or facilitate:

  • Goods that are illegal under Singapore law — including controlled drugs and psychoactive substances, firearms and ammunition, e-vaporisers, undeclared tobacco, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or anything else restricted by the Singapore Customs, the Health Sciences Authority, or any other competent authority;
  • Live animals, human remains, or hazardous goods (flammable liquids, compressed gas, corrosives, explosives, radioactive material);
  • Cash, bearer instruments, jewellery above S$2,000 in value, or items whose loss would create disproportionate liability for the Delivery Partner — Delivery Partners may refuse such jobs without penalty;
  • Prescription medicines, blood, or biological samples, unless both parties are lawfully entitled to handle them;
  • Any goods or instructions that would require a licence the Delivery Partner does not hold;
  • Harassment, threats, hateful conduct, scams, phishing, or impersonation of any person or business;
  • Automated scraping, bulk extraction, or any attempt to circumvent rate limits, the address-gating rules, or the access controls described in our Privacy Policy;
  • Any conduct that would breach Singapore law, infringe a third party’s rights, or compromise the security of GoDrop or another user.

6. Poster obligations

  • Post accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, a truthful description of the parcel, the correct vehicle requirement, and a realistic time window;
  • Have the right to send the goods and the recipient’s consent to receive them;
  • Pay the agreed fare promptly once delivery is complete;
  • Be reachable on your stated contact channel from the time a Delivery Partner accepts the job until completion.

7. Delivery Partner obligations

  • Only accept jobs you are able and lawfully entitled to complete with the vehicle you indicated;
  • Drive and operate in compliance with the Road Traffic Act and all other applicable Singapore laws;
  • Handle the goods with reasonable care; do not open, inspect, or tamper with sealed parcels;
  • Upload a clear proof-of-delivery photo at the drop-off; this triggers job completion and is shared with both parties on that job and stored in accordance with the Privacy Policy;
  • If you cannot complete a job after accepting it, notify the Poster directly and promptly so they can re-post or arrange an alternative;
  • Maintain your own insurance, vehicle licence, work-pass status (where applicable), and tax obligations — GoDrop does not.

8. Ratings

After a job, the Poster and the Delivery Partner may rate each other. Ratings must be honest and based on the job itself — not on protected characteristics, personal disputes, or matters unrelated to the delivery. We may remove ratings that violate this rule or that appear to be retaliatory, fake, or coordinated.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account, with or without prior notice, where we reasonably believe that the account has been used to violate these Terms, has been involved in repeated no-shows, fraudulent posts, harassment of another user, abuse of the dispatch system, or any unlawful activity. You may delete your account at any time as described in the Privacy Policy. Suspension does not relieve you of any obligation you have already incurred to another user.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

GoDrop is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment. In particular, we do not warrant that:

  • any specific Delivery Partner will be available, eligible, or accept a job;
  • any specific job will be completed, completed on time, or completed correctly;
  • other users have represented themselves accurately or will perform their side of the arrangement;
  • the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoDrop is not liable for any loss of, damage to, or delay in the delivery of any goods; any fare disputes, no-payment, or chargebacks; any conduct of any other user; or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the service. Because GoDrop charges no fee to either side, the maximum aggregate liability of GoDrop to any user in any twelve-month period, for any cause whatsoever, is S$100. This limit applies in aggregate to all claims by that user. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Singapore law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoDrop, its operators, and its contractors from and against any claim, loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, your violation of any law, your infringement of any third-party right, or your conduct in relation to any job posted or accepted via GoDrop.

13. Intellectual property

The GoDrop name, logo, and the design and software of godrop.sg are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the service, except as permitted by law. You retain ownership of content you post (job details, photos, ratings), and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating GoDrop in line with the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the landing page and, where appropriate, sent to your registered messaging channel. Continuing to use GoDrop after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of Singapore. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, except that we may bring proceedings in any jurisdiction where you are located to enforce these Terms. Where the dispute is of a value that falls within the jurisdiction of the Small Claims Tribunals of Singapore, either party may elect to refer the dispute there.
